It was time for Sami's yearly examination. I noticed as I placed him on the exam table he seemed a bit more nervous than normal. Each time any Tech would come into the room Sami would turn around and place his paws on my shoulders and bury his face into my chest or neck as if he were saying "If I can't see you, that means you can't see me . . . now GO AWAY!" Our new Vet came into the room and introduced herself. She was very young and so sweet. Sami didn't care how nice she was, she couldn't see him anyway, because according to his thinking . . . . he was now invisible.

This was a sweet, touching little book--most animal lovers will do the same as I did, and read it all in one sitting! The author's obvious love and devotion to her dogs is precious--my face had tears more than once. Including her own personal challenges (like "Ghoul"!) as well as those she had with her pets was lovely and interesting--and it fit well into the story. Sami is a true "little buddy", and seems to have human-like qualities. I wish a wonderful pet like Sami for everyone. Since this is an ongoing love story--with her doggie Sami and her husband as well--I'm hoping to see a sequel!Product details

The fun and funny stories along with the trying, frustrating and often difficult times in your life are the fiber of the love for your dogs as well as your human family.
