I have loved all of these characters with their own unique qualities. All of her books are so fresh and morally conscientious. It is so refreshing to read books that are so inspiring and hopeful. Terrific book. This book was great. I absolutely loved it. The characters were so amazing. Reading the book as the characters were transforming into a better or worse person. The peril that so many had to endure with the heavy snow storms that just wouldn't stop. This one is one of my favorites. Great read.
Enjoyed the story as with all of Caroline Fyffe's books. You get reacquainted with characters from past stories. This story was about a spoiled
You woman from Boston. Spending a brutal winter in Montana leads to adventure, much soul searching and finally finding her true self, a caring loving woman, along with love. Loved this book!
All of her books are very authentic, to the time, even the language they spoke, & the narrators voice is VERY soothing! I’ve listened to almost every one in all her series, while I’m laying in bed at night, doing my coloring app! I, literally, have to set a bookmark when I’m starting to fall asleep (so I don’t lose my place) while the narrators voice lulls me to sleep!!!
This great series gets better with each book. It is such a pleasure to visit with the McCutcheon family and residents of Y Knot.When a blizzard hits the area, the residents ban together to be sure their neighbors are safe. I found myself totally engrossed in this book, feeling the bitter cold, and experiencing the hardships they endured.
I have read all of her books, McCutcheon family series. This one, I found myself reading at two thirty in the morning. I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next. A winter storm in Montana. Freezing temperatures. People getting stranded, like poppy. She went sleighing with Oscar. She didn't like him, but she had to get some fresh air. Going through the wood, the sleigh tipped over and slid down the hill. With Oscar hurt, and the wolves closing in, knew she needed to get help. How would she get help in the middle of no where. Does she figure it out? Will help arrive in time, before the wolves get to close? Before they freeze to death? Romance in the air too. Lots of excitement. You have to read it.
